About
Broadcast and AV systems technician with a live-production foundation.
I support production environments where technical failures directly affect on-air programming: livestreams, projection, audio networks, PTZ cameras, switching, routing, and operator workflows.
My current work as a Technical Arts Assistant at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church centers on weekly live broadcast operations and the maintenance discipline required to keep systems ready. I operate and maintain a Blackmagic ATEM production control environment, Panasonic AW-series PTZ cameras, SDI/HDMI routing, and multi-platform streaming infrastructure.
I am especially interested in broadcast maintenance roles because they reward the same habits that matter in live production: clear signal-path thinking, repeatable diagnostics, careful documentation, preventive maintenance, and calm communication with operators when the room is already moving.
What I bring
- Dante Level 1, 2, and 3 certification with practical experience administering and troubleshooting IP audio networks.
- Hands-on maintenance of AV and broadcast equipment, including production switchers, DSP, digital audio mixers, PTZ cameras, routing, projection, and display systems.
- Custom Python automation integrations for broadcast sequencing and smart control workflows.
- Training and coaching experience for a volunteer technical team of 10+ operators.
Career direction
I am seeking to bring foundational broadcast skills, a proactive work ethic, and a dedication to engineering best practices to a broadcast maintenance team supporting demanding production environments.
